WORDMARK & ICONS

Many activewear brands have a edgy, badass tone and are associated high intensity sports or exercise. For Waysyders, we wanted the brand to be approachable yet still maintain the sporty-chic edge we all want to embody when we go into the outdoors.

The name itself, Waysyders, is also lengthy when space is limited, leading us to draw up some icons. In particular, we drew the resting person as a reminder of relaxation and vulnerability, as the customers reminder that sometimes just laying out and enjoying nature is more than fulfilling enough.

PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL

Within our photography and social, we wanted to allow the garments and the versatility of their use to shine through. People and environments are varied but always joyful. Garment features such as compression, durability and sizing/fit details are repeatedly brought to the forefront, in order to support as many trans and cis bodies as possible.

WEB DEVELOPMENT & COLLATERAL

While dynamic social and campaign photography invites customers in, the website is where we really needed to nail down clarity for an optimal user experience. A dedicated and detailed page for sizing was top of mind: we conducted numerous user surveys for each garment before deciding how best to showcase the measurements and fit.
